Strategic multimodal rail transport launched for international containerized automotive components from southern maritime ports directly to assembly plants.
Aligned with green multimodal logistics and energy-efficiency initiatives, KKT has successfully activated scheduled railway container corridors bridging major maritime ports with the Arg-e-Jadid industrial zone in Bam. This infrastructure upgrade enables the safe, mass transit of completely knocked-down (CKD) and semi-knocked-down (SKD) automotive kits directly to assembly facilities, drastically slashing customs dwell times and transit overhead. The seamless synergy between KKT’s road carriers and the national railway network unlocks direct access for automotive OEMs to international sea lanes and the North-South transport corridor.
